Originally$2199 Now$1499 Saving32% Remaining1422 Days
Spend one week in the capital cities of Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. Start by flying into Copenhagen, one of Europe’s oldest capitals, where you can go biking, walking, and sailing around the main attractions of the city. Then take a train through the countryside to Stockholm, known as the most beautiful capital in Europe, stretched throughout 14 islands in the southeast region of Sweden. Here you will spend one night before embarking on an overnight cruise from Stockholm to the cultural city of Helsinki, on the Gulf of Finland. Discover its modern architectural marvels blending in with handsome historical buildings such as the Lutheran cathedral. Starting from $1,499, including air from one of the US departure cities on select departure dates. Book by November 27, 2015 for these special rates.
Day 1 - USA
Depart the USA gateway city on your flight to Copenhagen.

Day 2 - Copenhagen
Arrive in Copenhagen and check into your hotel. (Comfort Hotel Vesterbro or similar)

Day 3 – Copenhagen
Spend this day enjoying Copenhagen at your leisure. Copenhagen has been the capital city of the kingdom of Denmark since 1417. It is one of Europe’s oldest capitals with a royal touch – the monarchy in Denmark is the oldest in the world. Copenhagen is a place where old fairytales blend with flashy new architecture and world-class design. It is also considered one of the world’s most environmentally friendly cities and one of the world’s leading cycle cities. Most of the city’s attractions can be reached on foot or bike, offering the opportunity to experience many things in a short amount of time. (Comfort Hotel Vesterbro or similar) (B)

Day 4 – Copenhagen/Stockholm
After breakfast, walk to Copenhagen’s Central Station (approx. 5-min walk) where you will take a train from Copenhagen to Stockholm (approx. 5-hour train ride). Upon arrival in Stockholm, take a ten-minute walk to your hotel for check in. (Clarion Hotel Amaranten or similar) (B)

Day 5 - Stockholm
Spend this day enjoying Stockholm at your leisure. Stockholm is built on 14 islands and connected by 57 bridges. The beautiful buildings, the green parks, the fresh air, and the proximity to the water are distinctive traits of the city. With 750 years of history and rich cultural life, Stockholm offers a wide selection of world-class museums and attractions. Most of the attractions can be reached on foot, by bus or via boat, giving plenty of sightseeing in the city. (Clarion Hotel Amaranten or similar) (B)

Day 6 – Stocklholm/Silja Line Overnight Cruise
After breakfast, spend the morning at leisure. In the afternoon transfer on your own to Silja Line terminal for embarkation of the overnight cruise to Helsinki. Depart Stockholm at 4:30 pm, sailing slowly through the glorious archipelago past numerous small islands. On board entertainment includes bars, shops, and a casino. (Inside B-class cabin with shower) (B)

Day 7 - Helsinki
Enjoy breakfast onboard, then disembark in Helsinki in the morning and transfer on your own to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.     Helsinki was founded in 1550 by the Swedish King Gustav Vasa, as a trading post to compete with Tallinn, to the south, in Estonia. In the beginning of the 19th century Finland became part of Russia, and Tsar Alexander I made Helsinki the capital in 1812. Since the beginning of the 20th century, Finland has been independent, and today Helsinki pulls off the trick of being something of an international metropolis while still retaining a small-town feel. The many parks, museums and churches are well worth a visit. We also warmly recommend a visit to the charming Suomenlinna Fortress, since 1991 on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, as a unique monument to European military architecture. (Original Sokos Hotel Presidentti or similar) (B)

Day 8 – Helsinki/USA
Check out of your hotel after breakfast, and make your own way to the airport for your flight home to the USA. (B)
